Morguz Figs (“Morgüz”) is a variety of table figs, common in the Aegean region. The crop can be harvested from mid-August to the end of November. “Morguz” is the latest variety. The weight of the fetus is about 63-72 grams. The inner part of the Morguz Fig is painted red. The peel of this fresh variety of figs is easily peeled and tastes slightly sweet.
