Production of wholesale dried grapes
There are 2 types of dehydrated grapes: kishmish and raisins. Kishmish is made from seedless grapes, and raisins are made from grapes with seeds. Each grape variety is harvested and dried separately. Before drying, the grapes are sorted, selecting damaged, sun-burned and unripe berries. When sorting grapes, they are also divided by the color and size of the berries. The duration of drying depends on the variety, size and pulp. but on average the grapes are dried for 11-24 hours.
